Holliday Scott has been developing, producing and marketing veterinary supplies for small animals for more than 50 years. Its well-known MV brand offers prescription food for cats and dogs with specific health problems.
In this case, the request was to revamp the packaging of “Therapeutic Diets” MV product and give it a modern (revamping) and consumer-oriented (modern and new) design, thus raising brand awareness.
Strategy and Design Idea
For the design of the line, we proposed to reinvent the diagonal of the original package, whose inclination refers to the V letter of the logo. It hones the logo to perfection, positioning the brand as innovative and technological, maintaining its leading position in the consumers’ minds.
The diagonal line helped us to divide the front into two parts, and highlight the names of each category by marking them with certain colors.
As for the photography, we have selected the shots of the animals always looking up towards the logo, looking calm, as if the animal knows and trusts the caring person, generating the same confidence in consumers.
